Please note that some natural dyes, such as madder, may leave some residue as it is used, this is perfectly normal and will stop though time. You may wish to rinse the yarn in warm water and hang to dry before use, especially if using it together with lighter colours.

When knitting a project with more than one skein, it is recommenced you alternate skeins every couple of rows (or at least when changing to a new skein).

When washing, use a gentle pH neutral cleanser with luke-warm water and leave to dry naturally. You should also make sure to store your yarn or finished object out of direct sunlight.

If you are planning to knit a sweater or other large garment, please ensure that you buy the quantity you need at one time, as due to the nature of natural dying it is virtually impossible to replicate the colours exactly.
